 CAN A STARTING GANG HAVE MORE THAN 2 CHAMPIONS?

It depends on the rules. House gangs using GOTU may only have two champions. House gangs using the House of… book may have as many champions as they can afford, so long as the number of Fighters with the Gang Fighter rule is equal to or exceeds the number of Fighters with the Gang Hierarchy rule.

DO MULTIPLE HITS RESOLVE AT THE SAME TIME?

It depends. If a hit would trigger an event (e.g. a Displacer field) that would move the targeted fighter out of range or the way of other hits then no. Otherwise, it is usually quicker to resolve them all at the same time.

HOW DOES RAPID FIRE VS. A CHAOS FAMILIAR’S OMEN OF FORTUNE SPECIAL ROLL WORK?

Generally speaking a weapon using the Rapid Fire dice makes ONE ‘to hit’ roll, which is then multiplied by the Rapid Fire dice. Therefore, if the save is against the ‘to hit” roll, a successful save would negate all hits. However, if the hits from the Rapid Fire dice are split across multiple targets, whether deliberately or through stray shots, then the save roll is only made against the hits that target the entity making the roll (or the Fighter it is protecting).

Two illustrative scenarios:

  • Scenario 1: The Familiar’s owner is hit by an Autogun that has rolled 3 hits on the Rapid Fire dice. If the Familiar passes its Omen of Fortune roll, all hits are saved otherwise the Familiar’s owner suffers 3 hits.

  • Scenario 2: The Familiar’s owner and another fighter are hit by an Autogun that has rolled 3 hits on the Rapid Fire dice. The player shooting at them chooses to split the hits, putting two on the Familiar’s owner and the third on the other fighter. If the Familiar passes its roll the hits on the owner have no effect. However, the hit on the other Fighter goes through and a wound roll is made.

DO MULTIPLE SERIOUSLY INJURED ROLLS STACK?

No.

CAN A PROSPECT PROMOTED TO CHAMPION EQUIVALENT KEEP ITS PROSPECT SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT

Yes.

CAN ENFORCERS BE UPGRADED TO SUBJUGATORS AT ANY POINT IN THE CAMPAIGN?

Yes, but any equipment they carry that a Subjugator cannot take must be added to the stash.

WHAT IS A ‘NATURAL 1’ ON A D3?

If you’re rolling an actual D3 (we have some at the club), it’s a 1. If you’re using a D6 to substitute for a D3, it’s a 1 or a 2.

HOW MANY BLAZE ROLLS DO I MAKE ON A WEAPON THAT HITS WITH THE BLAZE and SCATTERSHOT TRAITS?

Only 1 Blaze roll is made for each fighter hit, regardless of the number of ‘Scattershot hits’ on each fighter.

DOES BLAZE STACK?

No, if a fighter is hit by a blaze weapon and a successful blaze roll is made, the fighter becomes subject to the 'blaze' condition, this is what generates 1 hit a turn, and you cant have multiples of the same condition. So no you can't stack blaze

For the deck can we pick x ZM specific cards in the 20 and take them out when playing SM, or make x pairs to swap depending on setting? Or ZM specifics to be added on top of the 20?

Put them in your deck, but then discard and redraw if you draw a card that doesn't apply to your scenario. So for example, if your playing SM and you draw a card that is for vents/doors on ZM simply show it to your opponent (common courtesy) pop it back into your deck and draw again.
