The abandoned industrial sector was next on Deogracius' hit list for raiding. But as always with these crystal laden area the lost are never far away. So he hired two novice rat trainers; the small beasts seem to have a sixth sense for danger. This was doubly worring as soon as they arrive at the sector the rats run for the exit at full speed. In the split second it appeared that the shadows were shooting at them, in great numbers as well. It was time to run and follow the rats.
Not only were the congregation of the Sable Pyramid being chance by the lost. They now too had been funneled into two escher Gangs. One of which seemingly appearing right in their flank. Knowing to follow the rats path these escher better let them pass or things are about to get bloody...
Gorgers horrific visage loomed over the flanking gang. Weathering Las, auto and bolt fire. But he stood defiant, a viscous black vapour poured from his wounds. Knuckles cracked and ready it was his turn. He ran up to a scum and a Ganger with one out stretched hand he crushed the skull of the scum. With a brutish back hand he concaved the chest of the Ganger. With these lives extinguished so quickly he then barrels into another taking her as well. Finally he was brought low by bolter fire but finding companionship with a rat to lift his spirit however they both will run to safety together but not before crushing a death maiden for good measure on the way out.
Milo, true sight worried as he couldn't just find a spot pick apart the opposing Gangs one by one. The fallen were hot on their tails and he had no intentions to died in this dump. In the short respite from trailing rats for the way out, up high on a catwalk some juve seemed to be enjoying her self abit too much. Without a second thought lining up the crosshair on the centre of her headdress. The instant she's told to go back to the mission. BANG! Her body instantly slumped and milo grinned.
Poor Nagiri the mad old hag was hounded by both Gangs even though she failed to actually do anything. The empty eye sockets and the constantly laughing freaks her own gang out so must creep the escher so no end. Being assailed by a queen and a deathmaiden she luckily survived and with the support of the rest of the gang fought them off. However the repeated chem bombardment finally choaked out the witch. Seeing her go down the gang picked up her still giggling unconscious body and began to really leg it for safety. The crystals aren't worth dying for.
Making it back to their hideout mostly unscathed but broadly speaking empty handed and with 0 crystals for the first time it did feel like a defeat. The being in the void also thought the same, ignoring all cries from Deogracius; leaving the gang without a patrion. Horrified at such a notion Deogracius locked himself in his Chambers to consolidate his thoughts on how to fix a this disaster. He feels it has something to do with the crystals...

The Murmurations paused for breath and to tend to their wounded outside of the corpse mill. They could hear the whoops and jeers of the Lost from the surrounding shadows and gangways and knew the respite would be slight. Captain 5W4NN had noticed the barricaded doors and smashed terminals as they had ran for cover and could tell their mystery persuers were trying to back them into a corner.
She quickly ordered for the grapnel launchers and drop rigs to be given to the two wounded enforcers. They needed to move fast and escape the factory labyrinth, carrying injured personnel would only slow them down.
They heard footprints moving up on them fast and the team instinctively fell into response position, weapons readied at the looming approaching figure. The towering form of an abhuman beastman stepped into view and grunted. Steam rising slowly from his nostrils. The creature fixed his rectangular pupils at the captain and flung a dataslate at her feet. Just looking at the weapons adorning the cloaked beastman was enough to tell he was a bounty hunter... 5W4NN knew the legends of Gorr halfhorn but had always doubted their validity.
The dataslate explined the interest that House Valentine, the fallen house of Cog-Port had taken in the Murmurations and how the sanctioned bounty hunter before them was a gift for the team to support their endeavours. The Enforcers were clearly less than impressed and frankly the beast stunk. Still he packed an impressive aresnal, and from the looks of him catching up to the team hadn't been easy...
"Black Phillip?" 5W4NN questioned, reading from the dataslate. "You're here to aid our cause?"
Phillip grunted in response and spat into his palm offering it to the leader. She shook it firmly and quickly. Better than a hoof she thought... Feelings towards abhumans would have to quickly be put aside. He wasn't the infamous Gor but maybe somehow related? Regardless the extra guns were sorely needed.
Black Phillip signalled upwards before the Enforcers had heard anything. The Lost were above them now and readying weapons. They're numbers were impossible to gauge but appeared unending. "MOVE!" Screamed the captain as the desperate dash to safety began.
The injured G0LD3N3YE and CR0W quickly grapled to the safety of the rafters, securing a couple of crystal clusters on their way. From their height advantage it was immediately clear the Lost were surrounding them. The majority of gunshots raining down however were not being aimed at the Enforcers. The Paramedicae Orlocks we're desperately fleeing from the Lost on the far side of the factories, straight towards the Murmurations.
G0LD3N3YE relayed this information to his team just as the Wayward Sisters Escher gang appeared from the east. Thankfully they were taking shots at the Orlocks, but Black Phillip took advantage of their distraction and gunned two of them down with his boltgun, slinging a loot crate on to his shoulder with his free hand as he did so.
Clearly impressed the Murmurations backed him up. 5W4NN charged down an approaching Orlock, paralysing him with ease with her shock stave and grabbed a loot crate herself. Growing increasingly aware of the Lost approaching fast behind them the team pushed forward, allowing two servitors dragging loot crates to pass harmlessly by in the other direction.
CR0W grapled away to the far exit and was amazed to find a loot crate at his feet, drop rigging down and out to safety with his find, G0LD3N3YE following quickly behind - thankful to not take a further injury for once. G05H4WK cleared the way on the ground with his grenade launcher and vigilance sheild, taking delight in firing frags into an Orlock and Escher caught up in combat. Stupidly the subjugator turned his back as he ran for the exit though and a sneaky Escher let the effectiveness of her needle pistol known, taking him out of action.
R00K rushed an Orlock with his combat shotgun hoping to paint the walls with him. The crafty ganger merely ducked behind the loot crate he was dragging and answered back with a shotgun of his own... unfortunately for R00K the Orlock was some kind of shotgun savant and the retaliating round found its mark deep within the rookies neck. He stood stunned gurgling on his own blood before slumping forwards and out of the fray. He's last thoughts were of the woman he'd recently fallen for but even DR 3GR37 would be unlikely to save him now.
The rest of the team pressed on to the exit, a lone hive scum standing in their way. Unfortunately the bastard proved to be tougher than nails, withstanding boltguns from both sides. Patrolman 8U224RD somehow got caught in the firefight and lay bleeding out before them. They simply didn't have time for this with the Lost right behind them... Black Phillip became increasingly enraged and began reaching for his chain sword before finally a shot found its mark, removing the scummer for the equation. Forsaking the few reaming scattered enemies trapped with them, the Enforcers grabbed their wounded and loot crates and bolted for the exit.
Regrouping away from the combat 5W4NN took stock. They'd grabbed a captive and 3 loot crates and the injured G0LD3N3YE and CR0W had found time to patch their wounds and temporarily recover. G05H4WK and 8U224RD however were not in a good way at all. R00K was stone cold dead. The captain muttered profanitys under her breath as she retrieved his shotgun from his unrelenting grip. They needed reinforments now. Opening up her wrist monitor she punched in the request for a replacement rookie... And decided the time had come. She hit an additional request button and watched the screen blink in acknowledgement.

Skyvault Speculation Guild
(Venators)
The Venators of the Skyvault Guild had heard there was a roving band of outlaw Slave Ogryns hiding in the Slump.
With the guild at full strength, the Borg were still waiting for the return of One who is awaiting repairs, the Ogryns sequestered the help of 2 scum, Dale Gribble and John Redcorn and Outlaw Bounty Hunter Hank Hill as well as Queen Lorsha.
The Ogryns took initiative, launching scum forward to deploy a smoke screen. At that time, Theta K decided to experience a sever glitch (unnerving whispers) and charged the Ogryn Leader with his las cutter. Missing 2/3 attacks and failing to wound with the other, the gang fled the misbehaving lobo slave who spend the rest of the game running in circles and getting attacked by the lost.
Hank Hill opened fire with his warpstorm bolter, injuring 1 guilds man and causing another to break. Sensing weakness, the Ogryns marched through smoke.
Having split in to 2 groups, the guilds man began to consolidate in the centre of the map the Ogryns decided to attack through the smoke. First 7 of 9 charged with a stink slug stash, cutting down Rotnik, followed by a charge from Locutus who charged 12” with help from a tactics card and put down the Guild leader. The Guild sniper, meters away from the action tried to halt the Ogryn advance with his fast shot hitting on 2’s, rolling 1’s for both shots. His quivering hands could not steady the rifle.
Panic stations was now initiated for the guild who attempted to flee the ogryns, only to be chased down and losing two more members including the jittery sniper.
Guildsman Bandrom, who had been cut off from his gang and enraged by the ogryn advance, lined up x2 overcharged plasma pistol shots at Hugh, despite seriously injuring the Ogryn, he also overloaded his plasma pistol which blew up and killed the guildsman.
In full retreat, the guildsmen headed for the exit and the Ogryn live to fight another day!
