Week 3 Post-Battle

Corpse Town Reanimated

Following the successful liberation of the main expedition, goods and gangers begin flowing into Corpse Town. The revitalised trade allow the gangs access to better equipment, although some rarer items are still hard to find. It is still unknown who the mysterious fighters were that attacked the baggage train: the aggressors seemed to melt into the shadows taking their dead and wounded with them. The CCCP representatives (a selection of guilders and nobles) show their appreciation for the gangs’ actions by throwing their support behind those they are most impressed by, granting a number of boons that the gangs can benefit from.

It is still not known what happened to Doc Keet, but with the influx of new fighters, guilders and scum, a Medicae Station has been established, resulting in safer treatment for the sick and wounded - at least for the time being.

With an established outpost taking shape in the form of Corpse Town, the gangs look outwards towards the untamed wasteland. They will need to gather more of the precious crystals to fund their ambitions and establish a network of sympathisers and patrons if they want to successfully become rulers of The Slump.

Trade Post and Black Market

  • The restrictions to the Gang/ House Equipment Lists are now lifted

  • The Black Market is now open but the rarity of all items (with the exception of common) is increased by 4

  • The Trade Post is now open but the rarity of all items (with the exception of common) is increased by 4

  • Note: the usual restrictions for Law Abiding gangs accessing the Black Market and Outlaw gangs accessing the Trade Post still apply.

Sympathisers & Patrons

The Gangs’ actions have impressed a number of the Guilders and Lords accompanying the expedition. There support has granted the gangs the following buffs…

  • The Borg Reclamation Project - Water Guild (A single fighter may come out of recovery during each pre-battle sequence before choosing crews)

  • Skyvault Speculation Guild - Guild of Toll Operators (The gang adds d3 x 10 creds to their stash after each battle)

  • The Screaming Erinyes - Dome-Runners Guild (The gang may deploy D6 traps, of any sort, for free at the beginning of each mission)

  • Liminal League - Rogue Factoria (The gang may make a free Visit Trade post action after each battle and reduce the rarity of Trade Post Items by 2)

  • Sector Seven Furnace Lords - Psi-Syndica (A single fighter in the gang becomes a Non-sanctioned Psyker with a single Psychic power from any discipline. If this fighter is killed pick another fighter.)

  • Sable Pyramid - Heretek Sympathisers (In the prebattle sequence the gang may choose to give d3 weapons +2 Strength and the Unstable and Reckless traits for the battle.)

  • Lord Helmawr's Lawful Murmurations - Explorator Guild (The gang adds 2 Drop Rigs and 2 Grapnel Launchers to their stash for free. This kit is lost if the gang loses the sympathiser)

  • Wayward Sisters - Cog-Port Smugglers Guild (Each week you may choose to reduce the rarity of a single item to common from either the Trade Post or the Black Market.)

The Escher Chem Trade

Tiope studied her gangmembers as they returned to the nest. They carried their wounds with the pride of victory, so she assumed that whoever had delayed them had paid a heavy price for doing so. Lady Augusta, the scion of House Ulanti who had joined them for her 'annus fissure' raised her perfectly sculpted face and spoke in arch, clipped tones, "The Enforcers, they clearly know, I doubt they will trouble us for a while, it was rather fun". "Clumsy", muttered Tiope as she made a 'hold' motion to her Death Maiden, who had silently appeared anticipating an order to hunt the transgressors, "still if they know we may as well act freely, it makes no difference now'. Tiope turned to her sisters' "Panakaea, start production immediately; the rest of you, spread word to the other Gangs, we can provide the best chems, stimulants and gas weapons, theirs for a price". "What of our sisters?" asked Panakaea as she donned her respirator. "I assume they will to sell as well, we hold to the Crones directive" she affirmed, "at least for now. If anyone uses chems aginst a sister, we will all seek vengeance... at least for now".

Escher gangs may now begin selling chems and special ammo to the other gangs in line with their House of Blades Book Rules.

Individuals of Note

J4CKD4W, the Enforcer responsible for killing the horrific Mutated Ogryn, which was reanimated by the Sable Pyramid cult, has taken to wearing an Ogryn Tooth Neckless around Corpse Town. It looks like after cutting off the beasts head, he managed to liberate a few of its teeth before handing the head in as proof of the kill. This grisly trophy earns him the respect of the local traders and scum who had been terrorised by the monstrosity.

Following his gangs performance, Thane Grimrom of the Skyvault Speculation Guild is now supremely confident in the strength of his gangs armour. This has given him a swagger that only perceived invincibility can impart

Thane Grimrom of the Skyvault Speculation Guild improves his cool by 1

Flo ‘The Bow’ wyld runner for the Wayward Sisters has been the bane of the Orlock Gang, Paramedicae. Reaping a terrible toll. Her effectiveness has meant that the gang now carry extra arrows that they can pass to the wyld runner when she needs them
